The Riverlands SPCA celebrated their 10th Anniversary of serving the River Parishes with their successful Bark After Dark fundraiser on October 17, 2003 at Bull's Corner in LaPlace. WWL-TV's Angela Hill was the guest host of this event. The Riverlands SPCA has been operating without a shelter since their inception saving lives through adoption, fostering and the PetsMart Luv-a-Pet Center in Baton Rouge and Harahan. They have finally raised enough money for a shelter that's almost ready to open for business. Thanks to all those who give our animals a second chance!
