Pamela Rosen, the "Glitter Girl", has always been outside the mainstream. She's happier in her own mind, wishing the world would be a nicer, brighter place. Art has always been a driving force in her life. You can not talk to her for long without hearing about her new project or seeing her work.

Pamela studied Printmaking at The Art Institute of Boston. She has chosen glitter as a medium, because of the influence of Mardi Gras and living in New Orleans. She has been successful by having a one-woman show in 1998, which was well received.

She uses a combination of her artistic training and arts & crafts material such as glitter to create a form of monoprinting. With vibrant colors and carefree subject matter, her artwork delights young and old, male and female throughout the country. Her creative style from ice cream cones to evening gowns is a joy to view.
