Dyane Mitchell

Dyane Mitchell, a Louisiana native, is as versatile as her state. Her primary interests lay in her art, but she’s also known for singing the blues.

Her career started with two years of fine art under Ben Plougher. To broaden her horizons, since she has few limits, she then apprenticed with Fred Willis, a Navajo silversmith.

Although she has left the city of New Orleans, she resides on the “North Shore” of New Orleans across Lake Pontchartrain. She continues to consult with many local artists of the North Shore as well as sing with her band.
