Carol Flannery is a New Orleans-based artist with 20 years of experience in glass work. She
graduated from LSU with a BS degree in Liberal Arts. Apprenticed to several instructors, she
took the post of stained glass instructor while furthering her education in glass blowing,
lampwork, restoration work and etched, beveled and painted glass. Carol established Carolyn Rivers Designs, Inc., in 1986. She creates exciting designs in jewelry
with materials such as fused glass, her own handmade lampworked glass beads, reticulated silver, 24k vermeil and polished gems.

She is a member of The Museum Store Association
of America, Mississippi Craftsmen's Guild, Entergy Business Center, Society for Louisiana
Artists in Metal and The New Orleans School of Glass Works. Her work is exhibited in
museums, galleries and stores across the country.
